A Quick Trip Home v.3
We also headed to the Reid Park Zoo. I had not been there since my childhood. It was great.
We met up with Keena's friend, Mika and her family. Here is Rica wondering when the frog will shot out water again as Mika and her son look on.

A Quick Trip Home v.2
Since the weather was so great, we also headed out to Sabine Canyon. We took the 4 mile tram to the top and then walked down.
The views were great. Here is a funny saguaro we saw.
After getting off the tram, we headed down the canyon.
Here is one of the trams passing us by.
The creek was also running.
The girls get a lift from Dad.
We stopped in a spot and Rica got to play in the sand. She mostly thought it was funny to threw sand at her masi (aunt).

After a while, Grigo took off down the canyon with Rica and Keena carried Lia down.
It was a very enjoyable walk.

A Quick Trip Home v.1
I just got back from a quick trip home for the holidays. Besides everyone getting sick, the weather was amazing and we were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
One of our outings involved riding Baxter. Here is my fearless niece (under the age of 3) and Mum.

Afterwards, Rica fed Baxter his favorite treat....candy canes. I love both of their expressions.
