May Fun
I have been rather bad at updating the blog this days. But I am back on the ball now that summer is in the air.
My birthday was fun and a few friends and I went out for a BBQ dinner. Here is Jessica and Roshana after dinner. We ate way too much!
And me with Ruth.
Skip forward to Memorial Day weekend and we took a day trip to Whitstable on the coast. It is about 1 1/2 hours outside London. Here we are on the train.
The weather was not that great, but we had a nice day walking around and eating lots of mussels for lunch. Here is a picture of the main drag.
The town also had a nice walk along the water. Here is a picture of the small harbor.
While we were freezing during the day, there was a group of people actually taking some of these small sailboats out. Very brave.

Here I am getting blown away!
While it felt like winter in Tucson, spring was in the air. Flowers were starting to open.
We also did some window shopping. I love this dress shop that was on the beach. Talk about using your setting for a back drop.
One of the things that you have to see if you go to Whitstable is Squeeze Gut Alley. Only in England. It basically is this small alley (about the width of a person). It use to be an escape route for kids to get away from police officers with large guts! :)
Here is Jess going through.
And Helen walking up to the smallest point.
It was a really nice day out.
