On Monday, we headed to Kensington Palace to visit the birth place of Queen Victoria and the former home of Princess Diana.
They had a large display of clothing, including a display of Princess Diana's dresses. They also showed off some of the dresses worn by Queens.
We found it funny that in the historic Palace, they also had a large exhibit on the last debutantes in 1958. It explained everything that needed to be done to present your daughter to the Queen on their "coming out." They had funny displays. Here is one on how to curtsey.
The Palace also had impressive ceilings and chandeliers.

After we were done with the Palace, I took Mum to visit the secret gardens on the roof of some random building in Kensington.
We then headed to Westminster Abbey for the grand tour.
We ended the day by having a great dinner with friends.
