Visit from Mum.5
One of the best things that Mum and I did was visit the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens. The Gardens just celebrated 250 years and Mum and I spent the day wondering the 300 acres! They have 3 beautiful Victorian glass houses that feature different plant environments.
Mum and I visited the Princess of Wales Conservatory and we were surprised to see a desert!

We also saw great carnivorous plants. These things were giant!
We also saw ponds and fish.
And lots of orchids of different colors.
The Gardens also have a treetop walk. The last time I had done anything like this was over 10 years ago in Australia. We climbed the 100+ stairs to wonder around in the trees.
We also got to see the wildlife!
The weather was perfect. We had lunch sitting outside the famous Orangery Restaurant and later had cake and tea in the Gardens.
Mum and I could not stop taking photos of all the plants/flowers.

We were actually allowed to walk around the top of one of the Victorian glass houses.
Here is Mum on the way down.
In the end, we had a great time at the Gardens. A great way to spend the day!

And it was in a little nook, tucked away in the greenery, sitting on a bench, that Kerry and I had our first conversation with Keena after Lia was born.......
